A root cause approach that connects what's happening internally to what you're seeing on the skin. Once you start using it, it's hard to imagine working any other way.
No pressure, just an honest conversation about where you are right now.

@glowmooreskin_
@foxieskinclinic
@sknbyscarlettYou know your skincare. You keep your training up to date. And there's still that handful of clients where nothing really shifts.
She's back in the chair again. You've changed the protocol twice. There's a supplement line sat on the shelf because you're not confident enough to recommend it properly.
Acne is the skin communicating something happening internally. Until you know what that is, you're managing symptoms rather than resolving them. It's why a new serum transforms one client and does nothing for the next.
Your clients arrive more informed than ever, asking about their hormones, their gut, their stress. They want someone who can look at their skin and understand what's driving it underneath.
"What more do I say to them? Just carry on, and hopefully it gets better."
Every practitioner, at some pointEvery before and after from an FSA student wasn't achieved by reading symptoms.
One framework, repeatable on every client

FSA isn't a course you buy and then sit with on your own. Here's how the six months actually run.
You get instant access to the full portal. You work through the first framework modules and start applying symptom analysis to clients already in your diary. There's no waiting until you've finished everything.

Weekly live calls alternate between client case studies, pattern recognition sessions and expert masterclasses. You stop asking what to do with a difficult client and start spotting the pattern yourself.

The Launch module hands you the templates, the forms and the pricing structure. You package what you now know into a skin programme you can run in clinic, online, or both.

You become a CPD Accredited Functional Skin Practitioner and receive your certificate. That's a title to prove your knowledge, and one that tells clients you're an expert. You can stay inside FSA afterwards for ongoing support and updated modules, for a small monthly fee.

110+ video modules, six months of mentorship, and the templates that turn all of it into a working programme.
What to charge, how to package it, and what you're actually promising.
Work through a client and map what they tell you across all seven pillars.
Look up a supplement and see what it does and when to reach for it.
Somewhere to bring a client between calls and hear how others handled the same thing.
Phase one and phase two protocols you can personalise in minutes rather than evenings.

FSA opens a few times a year. The way in is a discovery call, where we talk about where you are now, what's holding you back and whether this is the right fit.
Build your online skin programme, or combine it with in clinic treatments, and after just a few clients see a return on your investment.

Faye Knox · Founder, Functional Skin Academy
My skin story didn't start behind a treatment bed. It started with benzoyl peroxide at fourteen, then two rounds of antibiotics, the depo injection, the pill and eventually Roaccutane. It worked. Then I came off the pill and my skin went wild. Severe acne, and a PCOS diagnosis with it.
So I went and trained in nutrition, functional health and lifestyle coaching. I worked with a naturopath. I got my period back after eight months, cleared my own skin without medication, and it's stayed clear for over three years.
Then I built a clinic and cleared acne for more than 100 women. Practitioners started asking how I was getting those results. I hadn't found better products. I'd found a different way of thinking, one where the gut, the hormones, the stress and the skin aren't separate conversations. They're the same one.
That's why I created Functional Skin Academy.

The practitioners who'll be the go to skin experts in five years are learning this now. We'll talk about where you are, what's holding you back, and whether FSA is the right fit.
A couple of minutes of detail, then you pick your time.
The call is with Faye, and it is how you get your place when the next cohort opens.
